The company has grown rapidly, with revenue growing from approximately EUR 3 million in 2024 to over EUR 10 million in 2025, and we are now building the commercial team that will drive the next stage of expansion.

The role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager for North-West Europe (NW Europe) to drive growth across one of the most strategically important regions for Direct4.me.
This role is ideal for someone who is energized by opening new markets, creating commercial momentum from the ground up, and building a region over time. As Direct4.me expands in these markets, we expect to continue investing in this commercial area and to grow the team around it. For the right person, this represents a real opportunity not only to win business, but also to play a leading role in shaping and developing Direct4.me’s entire NW Europe expansion.
In this role, you will take ownership of the full enterprise sales lifecycle — from identifying and prioritizing target markets and accounts, to opening doors, developing strategic relationships, shaping opportunities, supporting tenders, and driving deals toward closure.
This is not a purely transactional sales role. It is a business development-first role with sales responsibility. We need someone who can open doors, build credibility, identify and shape opportunities, and position Direct4.me with the right customers and partners — while also being able to carry opportunities forward into actual commercial execution.
Because we are still building our commercial structure, this role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial, and highly proactive person who is comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Lead business development activities across the assigned region
- Identify and develop opportunities with postal operators, carriers, logistics players, retailers, and other relevant strategic partners
- Open new accounts and help establish Direct4.me’s presence in markets where the company is not yet strongly represented
- Build long-term strategic customer and partner relationships
- Manage the commercial process from first contact through opportunity development, proposal shaping, negotiation support, and deal closing
- Support and coordinate tender-related activities together with internal teams
- Map, prioritize, and develop target markets and accounts across the region
- Help define go-to-market priorities across the region and contribute to commercial strategy
- Represent Direct4.me in meetings, trade fairs, events, and market visits
- Maintain and develop pipeline visibility, opportunity prioritization, and commercial reporting
- Act as a bridge between customer needs and internal teams, including management, product, operations, and delivery
What we are looking for
We are looking for a commercially strong and credible profile that combines business development capability, sales drive, and the ability to build business in less established or more competitive markets.
Preferred background
- Several years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic account development
- Experience in sectors such as logistics, parcel delivery, postal, last-mile, retail networks, technology, infrastructure, or other relevant B2B solution environments
- Experience managing complex and longer-cycle sales processes
- Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Experience with tenders, structured sales processes, or multi-stakeholder deals is a strong plus
- Experience in opening new markets, building presence in underdeveloped regions, or scaling commercial activity from a relatively early stage is strongly preferred
- Experience in Western Europe, Nordics, and/or Baltics is a strong advantage

Region and travel
This role covers Western Europe, the Nordics, the Baltics along with DACH and Benelux. Regular travel across the region is expected.
Language and location
- Fluent English is required
- Additional relevant European languages are a strong plus
- We are open to candidates based within the covered region, particularly in locations with strong relevance to the target markets
